I gained a staggering 56 lbs of muscle with only 8% body fat. I know its hard to believe but its true. I actually was fat at my biggest 196. I had to start a cut back phase and got down to my current weight of 175 lbs and about 5% body fat.
It took me 6 months in the gym 4 to 5 days a week. I studied and perfected my training program.
I was eating close to 4000-5000 calories everyday depending on my workout I was recoverying from. When you shred your muscles down your body is constantly hungry. If you train hard 4000 calories is not that much. But… for a 140 lb wimp it was a lot and I started gaining weight the first week like 5-10 lbs.
My profession is Website Development and Marketing. So it made sense to build a blog about my passion which is weight training. It was an obsession when I first got into body building. When I gained that 50+ pounds in 6 months, I went on a diet and more cardio into my program and cut down fast. Now I just keep a nice rock hard body at a weight between 175-180.
