Do you feel like there is now way for you to gain weight with a fast metabolism? Its no secret that at this point you might have felt like gaining weight is just not possible. I personally felt the same way, that was up until I was finally introduced with the right method to gain weight for hardgainers like myself. Consuming the right sum: With a fast metabolism, the reason we are unable to gain weight is simply because our body burns through more calories then we are consuming. If you fail to fuel your body with the proper foods and the right amounts, all your efforts are practically worthless. The amount of calories we should take in as hardgainers should equal to about 22 times your body weight. Any amount less than that will simply get burned and any amount more will just end up in the wrong places. Remember, the type of foods you consume will reflect on your physique.
Keep track of your progress: If you are in the gym day in and day out, putting the same amount of stress on your muscles, your body will adapt to the strain and plateau. You see, your body creates muscle after demanding activity by repairing the muscle and making it bigger and stronger. With that being said, it is very important that you continue to add more stress and always outperform your last session.

Anabolism: The state in which your body is growing is called anabolism, catabolism is the opposite and should be avoided. After a tiring workout your body has exhausted all of its energy and will start to feed off of your muscle tissue in order to create more energy. This is a catabolic state where cortisol is released and creates muscle wastage, at this point you should focus on getting your body back into a growing state. Though you are almost certainly familiar with protein consumption after a workout, more important is taking in simple carbs. Now I understand that in most cases these types of carbs are bad, immediately following a workout they can yield incredible muscle gains. the reason is simple, they are fast acting and shoot your insulin up promoting anabolism.
Increase muscle building hormones: Testosterone is simple the more effective muscle building hormone. If you can manage to keep your testosterone levels high (naturally) you can easily yield steroid like results. If you are really trying to maximize results in order to pack on pounds and gain weight fast, here are a few tricks to increasing testosterone naturally:
-Get high quality sleep for atleast 8 hours a night.
-Focus on big workouts that target more than one muscle group.
-Train your legs as much as you currently do your upper body.
- Increase the intake of oysters, celery, avocados, and bananas
Rest: Fact is, our bodies create muscle while we rest, not while we are in the gym lifting weights. Contrary to popular belief, we are actually just breaking down the muscle fibers in the gym. We are rebuilding the muscle when we stay away from strenuous activity and mainly while we sleep. If your are someone who is in the gym lifting weights 5 days a week, your body is not resting long enough to rebuild new muscle. In this case, less is in fact better, 3 or 4 days a week is more than sufficient. It is not only important to rest for muscle growth, but it also aids in gym performance.
